    Clogged drain at fuel filter

    The same thing happened to my 08, I just went to the local autozone and got a vacuum hose that fit under the drain plug and hooked it up the the wetvac. Works like a charm!!:)

    The first thing the ford hotline asks the service tech if he needs to call in is “has the vehicle been modified”( from my mechanics mouth, no bs!) so if you get a good dealer on your side that doesn’t need authorization from engineering you would be all set.     I was told by a ford engineer that if the tow haul button was engaged it will cancel regen on the latest flash.     OK, really dumb question about charging batteries

    there are only two batteries in parallel because you can produce more amperage for cold starts, snow plows and what ever. every one with the one battery charging thing is right.

    Question "regen"

    did you drive it 30 miles consistently? mine did that because i would drive short trips around town and then shut it off. the computer then says drive to clean exhaust filter. sure enough i took it on the highway and floored the crap out of it and then it said it was complete after 20 or so miles.

    good luck, keep us posted on what went wrong. i have a 6.4 with the 6speed, and have been questioning the through out bearing due to noise and sometimes hard shifting after it gets warm. does your truck run on a hydrolic system to?

    Hot oil & Antifreeze smell out of vents

    could it be your EGR coolant system? maybe a thermostat not opening correctly to allow the engine to get all the coolant, and sending the smell through the heater core??
