    Door Locks???

Chris, It seems a lot of trucks start out this way... first it's one that won't unlock, then it another... What's strange it that most of the time you can get them to lock, just not unlock... Some guys have gone the route of replacing the lock mechanism.. Which can be pretty pricey...

    Water temp guage

My friend has a 95 7.3... His temp guage barely makes it to the normal mark when his truck running. With a load on it, the guage jumps all around.. With the highest he ever sees being it making it to the "N" on Normal... Is this common for this year of truck? I have helped him replace his...

    Spray-in Bed-liners

I have heard the same thing... I thought a while back ... like a year or so ago, that Line-x was being tested as a coating on walls of basements or something to help protect against problems.... I don't remember what it was all about... just that their product was very good... I have a Rhino...

    203 Tstat from Bob Riley

QUOTE]In an equal comparison, the older gas engine trucks from the 80's and 90's would get 12-14mpg with stock tires (maybe). Your's is doing well when you look at those numbers. Oh, I never complain to much about the mileage... just would like to get better of course... :D I always...

    203 Tstat from Bob Riley

Snowman, I just wanted to respond to this thread because of the great results that you acheived by changing thermostats... I have had my mileage go down per tank for a while now and it has been bothering me.. So when I saw your post I figured what the heck... my truck has 115,000 plus on...

How much lift for 37" tires?

I keep trying to get my wifes Excursion classified as a "Pit Vehicle" so I can get Goodyears for her's and also to get those Firebombs off of her truck. :D I keep telling her that if she lets me lift it and throw some 35's or 37's on it that I can keep her in good tires all the time.. And...

How much lift for 37" tires?

They are usually around 450-500 per tire.. so $350 each is pretty decent.. I'm somewhat lucky because we're sponsored by Goodyear for the race truck and pit support vehicles... So we get tires for much, much less than that... virtually free. :D :sweet

How much lift for 37" tires?

I don't know about Swany's but my truck still has the factory running boards.. They help a little.. Without the running boards it is a whole different story... I running jump seems to work best. :D

    Corrective Lenses

Man.... 4 visits and $3,500 over what your insurance covers... In Las Vegas it's an initial visit.. to see of your a canidate.. then usually the next day you can get the procedure done... then a follow up the next day... The total for everything is like $3,200.. And that is for...

How much lift for 37" tires?

I hear ya... I had to drive around with my lift and 35" tires for several months because I was saving up to purchase some 17" wheels to put the 37's on... It looked goofy but I'm glad I waited... By waiting I was able to walk into a killer deal on my APP's.

How much lift for 37" tires?

Do you happen to know what the Max load rating on those tires were? I was looking at the Goodyear 40" MTR's and they are classified as a Load Range C ... but they are Max Load rated at 3195... A normal load range C is usually max load rated at 2400-2600 pounds Now before I got my lift I...

You run 39's or 40's don't you Swany? What kind of wear do you get?

How much lift for 37" tires?

I have a 6.5" Pro Comp lift and have no rubbing at all... I run the Goodyear 37" MTR's... In fact I have enough room that I am thinking about going up to their 40" wheels.

Win 2000 is like Win XP with a different interface. If it was Win 2000 you should be able to boot from the CD and run the setup program from it.

Roland, As someone else has stated the newer MB's allow you to boot from a CD-rom... Your older computers needed an OS with drivers loaded. Some people say the hard drive is completely clean when really only the active partition that boots is. HP, Compaq, Toshiba... all have a proprietary...

    EBPV closing at 67 degrees?

Without a load it seems like only 50-100°'s But with a load its more like 100°-200° And as you approach the top end of the temps it seems to take longer... I can hit 1100° pretty quick but going from there to 1300° takes much longer. Long slow climbing hills used to really chap my hide...

    EBPV closing at 67 degrees?

The biggest reason I gutted mine was because of temps... My DI 4way chip can get the temps up pretty quick on a higher setting. :D I noticed the biggest difference when pulling a load. It takes it a lot longer to get to the point where I need to remove my foot from the fuel peddle. Good...

    EBPV closing at 67 degrees?

I need to edit my signature... My truck is an early 99... so I would think that it would be close to the same for yours... I know I have a smaller turbo but I thought the EBPV was the same... I had already removed the intercooler pipe for the pictures.. The 94-97 use a 20mm plug...

    EBPV closing at 67 degrees?

If you remove the intercooler tube it opens it up a bit ... Also remove the downpipe from the EBPV.. it gives you a little more room. not much but a little. If you lay down a thick blanket or something to make it a little more comfortable it seems to help it not seem as bad. It was either...
