Tranny issues
Dezl, The problem I am talking about has to do with them using junk clutch packs and parts and such, not the diode. The clutches start to go and just keep getting worse. I would think you could see the debris in your fluid but I am not sure... Like I said before, with my BIL's truck it...- Dieselmeister

Dezl, I don't know if your truck falls into the year of bad trannies but Ford did some messing around with the trannies during the 00-01 year.. And it wasn't for the better. Got my KC’s installed
Swany, We run both high and low... we run 4 HID long range lights up high and 2 HID wide areas on the bumper... But we run the upper lights above the front window area and aim way out in front to keep the glare off the hood... I agree though, lights and dust do not work... I hate...- Dieselmeister

Yaesu vs Icom radios
I have the Icom 2100H and the V8000. I like the 8000 alot more mainly because it's a front firing speaker. That and 75 watts of power. We use our radio's more for communication with the race truck during races... Both radio's are put through some brutal punishment with heat and dust. Neither...- Dieselmeister

Ricky, like Sage said... You need gauges... If your worried about warranty then you may want to wait... Ford has a history of voiding warranties for modifying the motor/computer of the truck. And, a tell-tale sign that your running modified is the guages. Not everyone with guages has a chip...- Dieselmeister

EBPV Question
I say, "if you don't need it, delete it" I gutted mine about 4 or 5 months ago... We don't get super cold here, maybe as low as 28 once a year. It really made a difference in temps when hauling loaded.- Dieselmeister
