Fuel Heater Short
Have a look at the fitting where the wires connect inside and outside the filter housing. If the heater has been drawing a lot of current over a long time it may have melted the plastic enough to have a slight fuel leak. DON'T FORGET THAT THE STANDPIPE HAS LEFTHAND THREADS! Turbo error code
Isn't anyone using a zener diode (on the MAP sensor) on the early PSDs? That would seem like the esasiest way to fool the PCM if you are able to make that much boost.- Doggy Daddy

You will definately need a jack. I'm fairly certain that if you are doing the job on your back in the garage or driveway that you will want to call up one or 2 of the favors that a buddy owes you. If you are lucky enough to have the use of a lift and tranny jack it can easily be a one man job...- Doggy Daddy

If the pedal feels near normal then my guess would be that the disc came apart. If the friction material breaks it can stack up enough that the pressure plate can't release enough to let go. The pedal would go to the floor with no resistance if the hydraulics were bad but I'd check the fluid...- Doggy Daddy

fuel pressure sending unit?
I think that Ford calls it a "fuel vacuum switch". I have never known of it working to indicate a filter that needs replacing and have seen some crappy filters. A 1/8 pipe plug would be my fix if it were mine.- Doggy Daddy

EBPV Actuator question Help quick please!!
Sorry I'm late! Reno, Sorry I missed your post, I just got registered here. I'd generally look at the actuator rod before disassembly and decide then if it needs a reseal. Slight amount of slime and it would probably be OK. Thick coat of slime or a clean trail running down from the hole...- Doggy Daddy
