    In the auto's the volt gage is repalced by the tranny temp on the stick there is one.

    tested the alt its only putting out about 25% also it was only about half in the red.

    When i used a half inch ratchet i ended up craking it and it was doing the same as ur saying. A new cap and it runs fine. also make sure the oil filter is in right or it will let the oil out.

    Fuel heater elimination...

    There is a second way how they heat the fuel to they bring the fuel back from the return lines and put it in the HFCM till it hits a sertin temp i forget what it is, Its in the bible i will have another look.
