    Sorry to hear about your troubles and dissapointment with Amsoil. I installed the twin bypass on my 00 X about 3 months and 1500 miles ago and so far so good. It's sounds like the adapter plate. What would be odds of getting 3 bad filters in a row?

    I bought a couple of those stamped license plates out of Aluminum off Ebay, cut them out and sticky taped'em up. I'm off to the Northern Sierra's with the boy for a little skiing/snowboarding in the a.m.. We'll see if they stay on for the 400 mile trip. See ya all next Wed..

    I was getting the door ajar light as well and noticed when I closed the rear passenger door it rattled. I pulled the panel and the latch nut was loose so tight'ned it up, light went out and I was good to go!
