    I almost did it!

Oh yea, that's another thing. I need my S/D to HAUL my Mother-In-Law around. An F-150 just ain't got the guts! Now I did have a sweet 77' F-150 that would pull the world. But it only got 8 miles to the gallon unloaded, pulling my 19' Boston Whaler, 25' Wilderness, or a 14' trailer...

    I almost did it!

Well, last week I took my baby down to my local Ford dealership and test drove a 08' F150 CC FX4. Paying 90 cent a gallon more than reg. gas ticks me off! Well, the 1/2 ton just felt rinky dink. It's not as wide, the bed was only 5 1/2' feet. The difference in power was very obivious. I parked...

    Bilstien help

Hey Red, I'll be glad to send you the E-Bay link I bought them from, paid $250.00 with free shipping. But, I would be glad to let you crawl under the truck and install them for me. Might even add a cold frothy beverage to the deal! ;tu Thanks, I'm getting better, might be able to do the job...

    Bilstien help

Y'all are killin' me. My new set of Bilstien's are laying in the garage and my back is out so I can't install them! I can't wait to see if they really make that much of a difference in my ride. My 04' is pretty stiff, feels like it would ride fine without any shocks!

    BY-PASS KIT

Good morning all, Anyone ever try one of these EGR Bypass kits? My truck has 3000 miles left on the warranty and I was wondering if this is worth the $160.00 price on E-Bay. What do y'all think!

    PowerStroke Diesel Being Replaced By?

I'm with Bush & Tail Gunner, that's one ugly front end! I almost traded my baby in on an 08' last week, couldn't get by the front end on it! Even though mine only has 4000 miles left the warranty I'm gonna keep it!

    SuperCab vs. Crew Cab

I grew up with 3 kids riding in the back of a 68 Mustang. We fought over who rode the hump in the middle! Crew Cab for space and style points. And your kids will love you!

Summary - Preventative Maint for Diesels !

F350DRW1 that is a GREAT point! One more thing that happend to me. I went to let my spare down in the garage but did NOT have the "KEY" to go on the end of my crank rod (bought my truck used)! Since Ford did not have the right key in their kit I pulled the wench off and removed the other end of...

Engine Problems: Are the stories true?

Mine is THE BEST truck I've ever owned, bar none. I drive 85 miles round trip up to 6 days a week, mostly interstate and for 83,000 miles she's never had a hickup! I had the glowplug harness replaced when it had 40,000 because of an oil leak that that's been it. BUILT FORD TOUGH!

    EGR removing?

Does anyone know if unpluging the EGR valve will damage the cooler or oil tubes, or any thing for that matter? Just asking a question....

    Funny powerstroke cover up

I saw that, if I didn't have a 9 year old I'd have to have one. But I can hear it now, " dad what does THAT sticker mean"!!!!! Just like he does when he sees one of those little stickers of the guy pi@#%ing on the ex-wife, or whatever! There's also one that warns about BIG KNUTS!

    Spare Tire Lowering Contraption

jspafford, That's what I did, my Service Manager came out with the master set, lowered my tire, I threw it in the bed, went home and took the winch out, pulled the lock out with a pair of pliers. Now the crank handle fits right in and works like a champ! By the way it was no charge. Thanks for...

    03-04 6.0 ???

Mine had 43,000 on it when I bought it back in May. Now it has 73,000 and the only thing I had done under warrenty was replace a leaking glow plug harness. It did cost me a deductable of $100. Before I bought it I ran an Oasis report and it had "0" problems listed. I would drive it to Alaska...

    Spare Tire Lowering Contraption

Hey, thank y'all for your input, I tried two different lock keys and they did not work. I just worry that I'll pay Ford $60 to get the lock removed just to find out the Lowering Contraption ( winch) is tore up! Thanks again for the help.....Bern

    Spare Tire Lowering Contraption

I decided to check my spare after reading a post in here. I found out I don't have the little four inch piece called a " spare tire key lock", the part that goes on the end of your jack crank handle and lowers the spare down. I called my dealer and he said I would NEVER be able to match a new...

Hello everyone! I think I remember seeing power cords on E-Bay for around $20 brand new. Just do a search under Superduty or Powerstroke and you'll find them. :thumbs

    Cat or Muffler delete ?

AFE or MBRP I think the difference is the AFE is flared for the exhaust donut that is required to mate the CDP to the stock downpipe. The MPRB has a flat flange like headers that matches up with the MPRB downpipe. Bushmaster, how did you get yours to work? I'm just interested because I have a...
