Just bought a Magnaflow 4" system

Alrighty guys. Installed it today. Man is the Down pipe larger than the OEM!! That is what I consider the biggest difference. Install was pretty straight forward, except pulling the crossmember was a PITA! and pulling the DP out was tricky, good thing I have a 4" lift, gave me more room to...

    Mickey Thompson ATZ Radials

well some folks I know like the MTZ, but sayt he ATZ sucks... I find that an odd statement in itself. I bet the tire construction and compound is the SAME, and just the mold is different.

Just bought a Magnaflow 4" system

Only cutting I should have to do, is on the extension pipe which is determined on your wheel base. Other than that... it's supposed to be a bolt on job. Got it from my local 4wheel parts, some friends work there and they said those are the easiest to install ie no fabbing.

Just bought a Magnaflow 4" system

It's on it's way. Went with the 4" turbo back system. In "pro" # 17922, and then I bought a clamp on 5" tip seperately. Came out cheaper that way vs buying the XL kit which came with the tip included. Can't wait to get it on the truck.

Please help, 4" exhaust MBRP & Magnaflow

Ok, finally decided to do the 4" exhaust. I want a 4" Turbo Back, single, stainless, straight through muffler, and be able to use my stock Cat and a test pipe; swap stock cat in/out when need be. I'd almost prefer a 3.5" Downpipe for fitment and such of the firewall. Magnaflow- #15954 XL...

HELP Crazy sound like someone is hitting my truck with a Hammer

Check everything. Make sure the "brackets" upfront are tight. and the bolts are not backing off. check EVERY SINGLE BOLT. from the steering stabilizer brackets and mounts to brake hoses. Might not even be the Lift kit. You have a lot of variables going on. Don't forget to check your pitman arm...

    Castrol Tection??

what the rep said about ford was probly correct. Ford and BP, who owns castrol, are in cahoots. Ford already factory fills it's Taurus from the Atlanta plant with BP Amaco fuel. and I've heard the new 6.4 Diesel filler caps say to use BP diesel. so no wonder they'd be factory filling Castrol...

    Oil filter of choice?

I get my Motorcraft filter at Advance Auto for about $20 or less. Napa is charging $29 (WOW). I have not checked wal-mart yet, but will. I've also heard the wal-mart filters have a different part number on the box... something about ending in AB vs the AA. the ones I get from Advance are AA. Not...

    Oil filter of choice?

yeah, I've heard about issues with the wix, but didn't know if they had them fixed by now. the Amsoil filter I used a lot differentlooking than the OEM ford filter. One thing I noticed about the differences was the top, the AMsoil had a rubber gasket on top, and the OEM does not. so how can it...

    Oil filter of choice?

I've tried an Amsoil oil filter, and I'm on a FoMoco filter currently. What seems to be everyone's choice of oil filter for the 6.0? I've read a lot of issues with some knock of filters, and such. Normally I'm a Wix (napa gold) kind of guy. Good quality, overall very good filter, and good price.

    Castrol Tection??

Tried it this oil change around. Seems like a decent oil, can't really say one way or the other w/out facts. but is anyone else using this oil? Any long term users? I chose my oil by looking at oil product data specs. VI, TBN, pour points, Visc @ X temp, etc. Castrol has a nice TBN, High VI...
