hard starts and smoke
over the past 5 years with 156k on the clock the motor has only needed oil once and that was do to a lose oil filter. i'm thinking more along the lines of the injectors might be leaking down.- klinkzor

the smokes pure white with no odor at all but it pumps out enough that you cant see the truck at all depending on how the winds blowing- klinkzor

i got the truck from my work fairly cheap and spent 4 years driving it so i know all it's little quirks. she's needed very little down over there years so i know it would make a good personal truck and for 2600 for it was a deal i couldn't pass up. the normal pickup bed would fit me just fine...- klinkzor

i'll check them also when i get her home right now she's still at work waiting on me to get the 900 gallon tank off. guess i should of tacked that stuff on the repair order before i bought it but hey she got a full survice a new air box and power steering pump that they paid for :innocent- klinkzor

i'll check into that. it if cycle the wait to start 3 or 4 times it starts then dies after a secound or two. i should of added that to the first posts. thanks- klinkzor

body questions
i just got a 99 550 short wheel base. i was wondering if there's a easy way to mount a normal bed on it or will that have to be a custom job? also it has the recessed front head lights and i wondering what is needed to change those to the 250 and 350 style lights.- klinkzor

my 99 550 will take about about 15mins to get started on cold days if parked out side. once you get it started it starts fine for the rest of the day. once it is started it blows a white smoke screen for about 10 minutes and runs really rough but once the smoke clears out it runs perfect and...- klinkzor
