    Does you truck run different.....

Sometimes mine will run real smooth and quiet on the road, other times it's loud and a little rough. In a way, I guess our trucks are like women. We need to love them, take care of them, spend a lot of money on them, but yet we still will never be able to predict how they are going to act...

    10 k mod

I'm actually just got my adjustable mod built. I have yet to install it because I don't have my gauges installed. I hoping to finish both within the next week or so. I can adjust from 4.7K to about 23K.

    Things we do at college......

Just don't video tape the burnout contest. Leads to bad things. Just ask me how I know:thumbs (Yes I was smart enough to not participate in that one. Hard to get an impressive burnout out of a 4cyl Buick:nutkick: ) Too bad I can't say the same for the parking lot security guards. I go...

    best way for stacks?

I think if you go into the bed before you split them apart you will be able to set them wider in the bed. If you split them under the truck, you'll be limited in your width by the frame rails. My opinion is the wider the stacks are set apart, the better they look (as long as they're inside the...

    Adjustable 10K Mod

Thanks. I bought a double pole switch, but I think for now I'm going to do without the LEDs. I may eventually add them, but for now I'm just going to see how it works. Once I get it all done and get my gauges installed, I'll post how I did it and how it works.

    Adjustable 10K Mod

Ok, I've figured out how I'm going to do it (more on that after I build it), I just need to know the voltage the ICP sensor has so I can add an LED to let me know when it's on. Anybody know what this voltage is?

    Adjustable 10K Mod

For those who've done this, does anybody have a part number for the potentiometer that you used? Also, what power rating (in watts) is needed for the potentiometer. I plan on a 4.7k ohm resistor in series with a potentiometer. This will hopefully keep me in a "safe" level of resistance.

    More Upgrades

Man, y'all need to learn. He needs to justify $700 for a $400 intake. ;) ;) ;) Once he has the $700, he can spend the $400 on the Stage II, and have $300 to spend elsewhere :thumbs Gauges seem to run about that much. Maybe tell her they came with the intake:D

    shift rpms for 6 speeds

I was shifting at about 2000 RPMS and getting about 18 mpg. Lately I've been shifting at about 2600 RPMS. It makes the shifts a lot smoother for me, without using the clutch. And I don't usually use 1st (L). Lost a few mpgs though.
