Questions about installing new hub?
My ESOF was not holding a vaccum, so I replaced the knuckle seal and yellow oring. While I was at it I also replaced the U joint, outer axle and hub. I've been reading tons of posts and looking at tons of pictures of how this is performed. It all seems to have gone back together great. Holds...- bserventi

Hub Seals
Good to hear its an easy fix. What about getting the parts? Went to autozone and they couldn't find the seal, said they don't carry it. Checkers has one but its only 3.99 and not sure if its the correct one, because from what I've read it costs about 20+ from Ford?? Do I need to replace...- bserventi

Hub Seals
My ESOF will not engage the 4x4. I have traced all the vacuum lines and isolated the the problem to the drivers side hub. From what I've searched it seems like the hub seal is what needs to be replaced. What is the correct part number of this seal? Is it a easy fix or are special tools...- bserventi
