    Painted (to match the truck) and mounted a new light bar for my driving lights. Still need to add a relay and wire it to one of my upfitter switches. Hung them upside down to keep from blocking any air to the grill.

    I use Rotella 15w40 all year and it seems to do fine. Others might change to a colder weather oil weight? My block heater usually needs at least 3-4 hours on the plug to result in a smooth quiet start. I set a timer to turn it on in the middle of the night.

    Just got back yesterday from a 1200 mile round trip to Phoenix for the holidays plus some running around while I was there. Had at least 3 fill-ups in the 17-18 mpg range. A lot of this was running 75 on I-70 and I-10.

    I went through the same thing with my '99 when I did a 3" level kit to the front. The key was changing the trac bar. I wasn't able to find one (early '99) so I cut and extended mine to solve the problem. Hope this helps. :)
