    That is probably premature but that's the way things go sometimes. Just be glad it wasn't something worse or didn't burn the truck down or something. Alternator replacements are fairly simple and not too expensive compared to other things that could go wrong.

    Yes all transpoders will be different. I am willing to bet its an alignment issue. Either side of the LNB will pick up either satellite. Go up on the roof with someone in the house wathing the TV. Cover the LNB with you hand that is supposed to be 119 (should be marked on the plastic Y)...

    True, but my point was they could end up getting a bad reputation as a result. Similar to the 5.7 and 6.2's. Obviously no where near what todays diesel are but they were capable of good fuel mileage and were fairly reliable until people started using them beyond their intended application.

    It could be that your dish is out of align or your skew is off. You can easily check if it is the LNB buy swapping the 2 lnb's. If it is your results will be the opposite after the switch. I doubt it is a bad LNB. What do you have a for a switch? SW44? If so you can switch the 1A...
