    I had this problem on mine Mine was a lack of fuel pressure to the injectors. If I recall i only had around 18psi shimmed the fpr cleaned the return screen and installed a new fuel filter and was getting 65psi at idle. I have the banks chip and I'm getting around 25 psi at 2800 rpm's...

    I have checked my turbo thatway and it spins very freely at all times. wonder if you have some soot build up on the hot side causing this drag, probly not though. How much end play does it have?

    I still have the one that went bad any ideas on what goes bad and can be repaired? It does not look that bad if I could fix the old one I would try it on thatone first and that way I would have a spare.

    Oh I know all to well how much they are mine went out about a year ago and left me along side the road 900.00 dollars new and got one out of a wreck yard for 450.00 kinda had me over a barrel other wise I would have bought one off ebay.

    What can be done to an IDM to increase the voltage to the injectors? Or who has done this mod by them self so I can do it on mine? I have heard this can be done and would like to know how. thanks for any help guys.

    So I don't suppose you would like to share some of the wiring info? I was going to take a reostat and T into the supply and the signal from the map sensor to be able to fool the computer and have it adjustable in the cab. I noticed you had three knobs what did each one do

    Did it drop a valve? Smoke color and sounds you describe could be posible. have you removed the valve covers to see? alos could be an injector dumping fuel or blew the tip off. let us know what you find.

    yeah if you look on the field pressure regulator there should be a valve that looks like a valve stem for a tire that is the place to check

    Hey bulrid8 I was checking out your pic and saw your map sim what do you gain by having this and how does it work? I'm guessing you use it to simulate boost to fuel more off idle without actual boost or am I way off?
