    which cylinders are which on these? On the 5.4 triton the pass front one is 1, the pass rear is 4?

    the e brake is a drum type brake set up. The gear oil from the leak soaks them. I trie cleaning and sanding. No good. The shoes for my dually were like 25 bucks. As you arer driving the oil flies around on the inside of the drum(externally its the disc)

    not sure but if theres an axel leak, then the ebrake shoes are ruined. They are not that expensive if you do it yourself. The seals not that much either.

    if you have a pre march 22 99 hub(i think thats the date) They are a lot more expensive. You can use a 2000 2001 hub instead.YOu will need to get the 2001 rotor also in order to do that. Thats still a lot cheaper then an early 99 hub by itself. A lot cheaper... trust me it works fine and you...

    When adding coolant add the right kind. I believe some 2002's had the old school green and some the extended life. Dont mix them. Also with the powerstroke, especially the powerstroke, check the nitrate levels. Ford sells test strips and additive. Napa does too. These engines have wet lined...

    Spring bushings

    I did the front on the vehicle. I used a ball joint press and got creative. I used a small jack between the frame and spring in front. To push it down. Then a cum-a-long to get it pulled to the side to fit back in. I was very very creative. I would recommend just pulling them out.

    I hear some noise and feel it in my feet as a passanger in my 99. I swear its the transfer case bearings somehow. Has a clunk too.

    Question Free leaf springs

    what year? If they are from an 03 or 04 6.0 they will fit. Not sure on 05. The front end suspension changed and back spacing on wheels. They may have changed some dimensions in the rear too?

    Will these fit my truck?

    same bolt pattern but you will need 2 inch hubcentric(not lugcentric) spacers per wheel. Factory 05 and up wheels have 1 7/8 more back spacing. They will hit your leafs in the front.

    the body mounts make noise. Nobody ever seems to think it can be them. Right under your feet. Sometimes just a tightening is all that is needed.

    Just dont have it idle for no reason. Read on the high ifle mod(couple wires) I think it works on the 05, does on an 04. Great for warming it up.     Fuel leak when cold

    The fuel heater has 2 orings too. That can leak. Not as likely as the drain valve, but can leak.

    dually's have different lug patterns, srw still use 8 on 170 thru 07 anyways. back spacing is different
