    Shell Rotella 15w40

I have been using the Shell Rotella 15w40 in my 2002 F350 7.3 for a while all year round. In my region it can get cold anywhere from 0-30's during the winter. I have never had any issues with the Rotella 15w40 and starting my truck and plug in when I have to. Anyone else use the Rotella 15w40...

Good price on Motorcraft PSD 15W-40?

Re: Motorcraft 15w40 Oil The MC 15w40 is a decent oil, I have used it in my 2002 F350 7.3 in the past. It's made for Ford by Conoco-Phillips. I now use the RotellaT 15w40 and will switch to Rotella 5w40 during the cold months. My truck likes the Rotella and it is easy to find. The MC 15w40 in...

So I am thinking of trading in my 08 for an 02

The 7.3 Powerstroke is a strong proven motor, I have an 02 runs great. As far as I know, no head issues with these motors, they are very reliable. You can still find 02's and early 03's with 7.3, the only real issue with them is the CPS failure but there is a recall on that now, atleast you get...

    What is fuel costing you?

I agree, this is #$%^@, no excuse for any gasoline or diesel fuel to be so expensive. The american people need to share thier anger with the politicians, by keeping the pressure on them. Ty not to drive unless necessary (work/store/school/important appointments) let the oil stock pile then no...

Talk about the 7.3L CPS Here!

Since I have not recieved my recall notice yet from Ford, I decided to swing by the dealer today about the CPS recall for my 2002 7.3 The dealer did the OASIS to varify and advised if the previous CPS replaced in 2006 was not the upgrade as he called it, a new one would be installed at no...

TampaDieselFX4 I have a 2002 F350 with the 7.3 with 64,000 on the clock. I also plan on trying the Rotella 5w40 during next years cold season knowing the engine will be happier. Presently, I use the Rotella T 15w40 with no issues. I honestly do not expect to see too much of a noticeable...

    Posted on diesel down

My 2002 F350 stalled on to occasions at a red light a few years ago within a 6 month period. On the second incident I was on the way to work and about a mile from a Ford Dealer heavy truck shop. Motorcraft 5w40 Synthetic Oil

That's what the parts guy stated. To be quite honest, at $4.23 per quart is not a bargin in my opinion.

    Motorcraft 5w40 Synthetic Oil

I think if WM or some of the parts stores end up carrying the MC 5w40 diesel and sell it at a reasonable price, it will catch the attention of many diesel owners.

    Delvac 15w40

I don't read alot of comments regarding Delvac 15w40 in the 7.3's. I use Rotella T 15w40 in mine no complaints. Just wondering if anyone went from one of the other brands to Delvac and what thier opinion is? I have yet to see the Delvac 5w40 at WM and some of the parts stores in my area...
