    Oil Spinner?

Tbar/fordtrucker4life Thanks for the information. After reading the website, it is a device that uses centrifical force to capture things that you don't need in your oil. Sounds pretty good for extra measures for the big rig folks I guess who want to go longer between oil changes. I think...

    Rotella 15w40 or MC 15w40?

Hi Everyone, I thought I would take a chance in asking this question. In asking, I'm interested in the opinions of fellow 7.3 owners such as myself. I have 62300 on the clock (2002 F350 4x4) with no problems. Up until a few years ago, I would let the dealer do my oil changes and of course...

    Diesel Fuel Question

Is it me or what? In my area I try to buy diesel from a couple of places to ensure fresh fuel. Well, the winter blend is the fuel of choice now. It seems that with certain tanks of fuel, my milage may decrease or increase somewhat although my driving habits are pretty much the same no matter...

How long do your batteries last?

In 2006, one of my MC batteries in my 2002 7.3 F350 had a bad cell according to the dealer. I didn't have a problem cranking/starting. The service advisor said the other battery was fine and said I could get away with only replacing the one battery. To play is safe I told him to replace both...

I was at the Ford Nationals at Carlisle Pa last year. Castrol had a booth there. They were displaying their Castrol Tection 15w40. I was talking to the rep there about diesel oils. He told me Castrol did a lot of research delveloping this oil and it would work great in my 7.3 I didn't doubt...

    Pillar Gauges

I agree. Option #1 Honestly, if I were a big shot in charge lets say marketing the Superduty Diesel Trucks F250-on up, I would contract with a good quality aftermarket gauge company like Isspro or others. I would give the customer an option to order a quality set of pillar gauges for...

    Ford Reman Alternator

I read somewhere a while back, there were issues with many PSD owners alternators going south. In the same reading topic I thought I read there were improvements to the remain alternators. In saying this, I'm hoping this is true. In fact, I have read where many purshase an aftermarket...

    Pillar Gauges

I also meant to say, although I really like my truck, I was really surprised Ford didn't choose to include a volt/amp gauge as well in 2002. You would think a truck such as a Powerstroke would have it. Makes you wonder what the decision makers were thinking. :dunno

    Changing my own oil

I also by the Rotella 15w40 and MC FL 1995 oil filter cost about $48-$50. Last time I went to the dealer a few years back, they got me for almost $140.00 Thats what convinced me to do the oil changes myself after that.

    Oil Pan Rust

The oil method should help, I did that until applying the PM13A. I was surprised how easy and fast it was. I'll crawl under there again in March when I cahnge the oil and oil filter to see how it looks.
