    rant Oh g*d d**m it

Sounds like you're spending on repairs isn't more than a month or 2 of my payments, so I say your good. 13 year old truck? Suck it up man :lmao

    Curious

Put one on, no more warranty. Period. The ECU keeps a record of everything and it is very obvious when it's tampered with. Some guys don't care about warranty, and they may never need it, but me, I already paid enough for the truck, I want to enjoy no repairs for a while :D

    Cadillac train horns

Sounds pretty good, but I think I'll go for the real thing. Wouldn't want the 450 to sound like a caddy :lmao

    New Truck Time!!!

I got 5k for my 04 on trade and it sold at the wholesale auction for 6k. 254k miles.

    New Truck Time!!!

Agree with Dave. I would MAYBE give half that for a 6.0 with 250k.

    When regenerate?

Yup that's right. You will notice your fuel mileage way down for a while after you see the message on the screen. Otherwise that's it. ;)

    Aluminium.... Bah!

Yup use an acid aluminum cleaner, just be careful where you get it. Keep it off your alloy wheels, etc unless you want them stripped too. Then go after it with the BadDog polish :sweet

    Trailer Wiring for Towing Doubles

I think all we're saying is that you certainly CAN run with one controller (provided it's rated for enough axles), but to get optimum performance/ handling/ safety, and if you were doing it OFTEN I would go with 2.

    Trailer Wiring for Towing Doubles

I had a reply all typed up the other day recommending 2 controllers but then the site puked out on me. I guess good minds think alike. Thanks Robert. :D

    shipping wars

Many (most?) states do not enforce GCWR. They will look at tire/ axle weight ratings. Even more important is your LICENSED weight. Pay more, haul more.:D

19k load, what to pull with?

Did you end up ordering the boots from Dieselsite? I hope so, they are much better than the Ford ones. Feel free to post pics before summer, we like to look at trucks :D I wish you the very best with the 6.0L :sweet

    Injector change no start!!!

x4 Put the valve covers back on after you pull the plugs or you will paint your shop with oil :D

19k load, what to pull with?

If it's an 04, it's a 6.0L. There is now HPOP or fittings exposed in the valley, everything is internal. 6.0's can be great or a can of worms too. A 450 with many miles can be used hard. Sitting for extended periods is hard on them as well. How many miles are on it? What kind of history does...

    Does DPF fluid freeze

Yes it freezes. Your truck is equipped with heaters to deal with it. DO NOT add anything to it. Freezing is not a problem at all. ;)

    Where is everybody?

I been too busy workin makin $$$$ :lmao

Has anyone done a DPF delete on a 6.7?

Understand on the mileage. Engine warranty is 5/100k, you are getting close to 100k already? :sweet

Has anyone done a DPF delete on a 6.7?

I guess the question would be, what are you looking to accomplish? The advantages of deleting on a 6.7 aren't as big as they were on the 6.4. The 6.7 mileage is already pretty good. I would assume you understand what happens to your warranty if you delete?

19k load, what to pull with?

If you can get a 6.4, I would do it. I would verify what the warranty covers though. When I was shopping last year I could get a 450 w/ 6.4L with very low miles around 30k or so, IIRC, with some warranty left. I still opted for the new truck at $55k. Remember also that the 6.4 in the 450 will...

I'd just borrow a truck from work then :D Nice boat!

19k load, what to pull with?

If you are looking at new trucks, I would highly recommend the F450 pickup (like mine in sig :D) GCVW is 33,000 so you should be just fine. I've been up to 45k or so and it pulls/ handles very nice. A 350 would probably do it, but I can't really recommend that.

    Happy B'day

Thanks guys. I had a pretty good day. Got up at 3:15 (am) and worked my tail off :lmao Otherwise I got to thinking and decided now would be a good time to go back 10 years. Today I felt like I was 21 and decided that I liked it. But I'm thinking tomorrow I very well could feel like I'm 41. :D

How do I park this thing.

I usually take 4 parking spaces in a lot, usually on the outside edge. I'm sure some people look at the truck and figure I'm a stuck up jerk, but oh well. I don't get any door dings that way :lmao I can't remember the last time I had to parallel park. Even with the bug :dunno
