have you checked rear main, oil pan, drain plug, oil filter? sounds like to me you have ruled out the top half as leaking- jlayne

just for giggles does anyone know what the "special thread" ford uses on the plug on the back of the fuel filter bowl... lools like a standard "straight fitting" that uses parallel threads instead of the npt with narrows towards the end (a "npt to sae" brass adapter)- jlayne

i use 16oz. of power service to every tank refill (approximately 30 gal.) this is mixed stronger than recommended but i get great fuel millage and my truck runs better- jlayne

just means your truck is running very efficient and burning all of the fuel going into it, not a problem at all... when you alter it with a chip/bigger injectors and it can't burn it all then you end up with the cloud from the pipe- jlayne

the electric fuel gauge comes with the sender from autometer, it is complete except for the wire.. just to be positive does anyone have a pic of the 1/8 fuel pressure port on the front of the pass. side head, i just want to make sure i get the correct hole here is the gauge and sender- jlayne

i have seen that, but a six dollar brass fitting is a little hard for me to swallow... i have been reading up on using the 1/8 fuel pressure test port on the front of the passenger side valley, what i read said it was a more accurate reading as well because it will give you your pressure at the...- jlayne

Well bought myself some more gauges today, under dash 3 gauge pod... Oil temp, fuel pressure, and air pressure. The gauges are all autometer sport comp to match my others and oil and fuel are electic... 2 of them got back ordered -mad so i'll have to wait on them but should be here by the time...- jlayne

it will wear the wiring for the blinkers out... my friends blinkers only work if the wheel is in a certain place... not sure if the od wires are ran the same way... i would say they are- jlayne

or do what i did and see if you can get lucky in the junk yard, i found one out of a superduty but.. i think that shifter has been used for awhile, the OBS trucks look just like em so i doubt it would be that hard to find even if you couldn't find a superduty good luck- jlayne

not to bum you out anymore but... i wanted to buy the rubber boot on the bottom of the shifter and the local dealer here (probably a lie) told me that you could only purchase the whole shifter assembly, that none of it was servicable hope you have better luck- jlayne

i'm nof familiar with the electonic gear recalibration it may be possible to reprogram them and it sound easier, i have only had experience with changing them around old school with speedo gears i found a ford calculator where you plug in your gear ration and tire size and some tooth counts...- jlayne

if you own a new dell they allready have the mac type plug on the back, some new demension pc's we got in at work had the mac plug and came with the adapter like what dieselmaster found in the box so we could use them with our old monitors- jlayne

Seen this in another thread and didn't want to hijack so i started a new one. Daryl and Dale said that navistar and ford used a filter boss on the front cover (i'm assuming) just curious can this be used in a superduty would be nice to not add any more hoses and just have a filter.... anybody...- jlayne

Creaking like a old hay wagon
are the "pads" still on the ends of your springs? they fell out on my truck and had to be replaced, no amount of monkey pee will keep that squeaking (from personal experience) good luck finding a phantom squeak can be a pain- jlayne
