EGR BYPASS?
And if you really want things to run right, rip out the OIL cooler while you are in there. he oil cooler runs coolant prior to the EGR cooler. The oil cooler has very small passages for coolant and if you have any coolant debris, it clogs. So, the solution is: -Complete EGR system removal...- ralphinnj

Yeah, but I heard from a Ford tech that the cause is not sand. The solder on the oil cooler MELTS due to hgih EGT's in the EGR cooler. That forms an obstruction in the EGR cooler or somewhere along the line of flow for coolant. Same end effect. Ralph- ralphinnj

oil cooler bypass??
The 6.0 oil cooler has restricted pathways, so anything larger will help flow. But...and there is always a but....you need to fabricate a part to put where the existing oil cooler is. Some are working on this as we speak, but no kits are available yet. Ralph- ralphinnj

Too much info!
I posted this elsewhere, but it may help: I agree that opening up the breathing is the way to go. It also depends on the gearing you use and your driving habits. Before you go too far down that road, think about how you want it to look. I really don't think you can have that "big" look with stock rims and no lift. Not saying the other trucks don't look good, but the big look is mostly due to height, then choosing a wheel and tire to fill the void. So...- ralphinnj

It IS puking, there is no doubt. Been there, done that. I would clean it all up good (lighlty wash down the engine and hood liner. Wipe it down and get it looking good. PROBLEM WITH EGR
Some questions. Do you make boost? When they serviced the truck (on all those different occassions), did they inspect the turbo? Stuck vanes can give symptoms like what you have described. When in Park, can you rev it no problems? Sounds right? That will tell me if it is a load issue or...- ralphinnj
