    My cps cut in and out like his is doing. Since it's a 2000 have him check to see if the tach is bouncing when he tries to start it. If not it's the cps.     Shifter Knob w/ Switch

    Jegs or summit carries them. I'm not sure if the shift pattern on the six speed matches or not? They are made for line locks and nitrous but should work for jake brake too. About $48 a pop though.

    I would think this is a head gasket issue. If your oil was milky then that's more than likely the reason your truck wont start. The injectors in the 7.3's use a high pressure oil pump (HPOP) and engine oil in the firing process. You more than likely have milky oil in you injectors and HPOP...
