    Intermittenly Sputters and Sometimes Dies

Autozones will read codes. There's been talk that they can't read the Ford specific programs, but it's worth a try.

Cleaned intercooler piping boots, found lots of oil?

The CCV should not be put into the exhaust before the muffler with a stock exhaust. MY OPINION- Bryan

    asap how many quarts oil?

I won't say 15 because maybe it's different but that's what mine takes. 1- is the truck on level ground? 2- did you fill the oil filter, if not have you cranked it yet? If not 1.5 quarts will be taken to fill the filter.

    Difference between 99 and 99.5?

Here's an article I wrote on turbo removal. This is on my 2000 model, when I still had a stcok turbo. It also gives good pictures of the y-pipe and such. http://superdutydiesel.com/wiki2/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=24

    P0603 Code???

You should only need to remove the intercooler tubes to get them off, 30 minutes tops for a rookie, ten minutes to put back on ( for IC pipes). The passenger side is a bit tricky but it does snake its way out. I would disconnect both batteries since there are exposed relays. Once they are off...

    P0603 Code???

The yellow arrow points at the wiring that plugs into the UVC. The yellow circle is the injector. The under the valve cover wiring looks to be removed already in this picture but it should give you a visual of what we're talking about.

    P0603 Code???

SCMT- Super Chips Micro Tuner P0603 is harmless, it just means the KAM was turned off when you erased the stock program and installed the SCMT programs. P1316 is the one causing your truck to run poorly. It could be caused by the UVC harness. UVC-under valve cover harness. The injectors on...

    Difference between 99 and 99.5?

I don't know about the IC pipes, what I was referring to as IC ducts are the sheet metal ducts (intake) that bolt to the cylinder heads. Here's some reading for you: http://www.superdutydiesel.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4581
  22. W

    Difference between 99 and 99.5?

yes you already have the WW. Your intake ducts are smaller, turbo is smaller, airbox is different and you have slighlty smaller injectors.

    Oil Leak at EBPV Actuator

Then it is the EBPV rod seal. Gut it and be done with it. There is tons of reading all over the web about the subject. Short sweet to the point story: The international motors do not even have them. Many psd owners in northern climates are running without them with no difference in warm up...

    Oil Leak at EBPV Actuator

When mine leaked it sprayed oil at the passenger side uppipe, and there was no oil in the valley. You could just gut the entire thing. There's another article in the WIKI for it. It costs less than $10 to do if you have the tools required. Mine did not start leaking until after my first of many...
