    Mine doesn't trip my GFCI. There is a short or bare wire somewhere that is causing it to trip. Anything that will draw more than .25 amps and not "return" through the neutral wire could be the cause. It could be as simple as a nick in the ungrounded wire touching water.

    Sorry , I don't pay much attention to torque specs unless they're on heads, main caps, rod caps, etc. Just use a 1/4 drive ratchet you'll be good.

    Yes I put the factory lights on my 2000 XLT that didn't come with them. You'll need to buy the connectors from an autoparts store, and install a relay to run them. You can have them on a switch if you like, I just wired mine to be on when the headlights are on.

    When you say spool up>>> Do you have gauges that you are reading boost on? Does the truck make a loud sucking type noise when accelerating during this first five minutes? I would wager since its the first winter with the truck that it actually the EBPV (exhaust back pressure valve)...

    If your dash lights are out then your parking lights are mostly like out also. Check the fuse.
