Slow cranking - batteries, battery post wiring and glow plugs good
Just curious. I have the same issue along time ago. I choked on the cost of a new starter back then. It cured the problem but only lasted a few years at the most. Now I am dealing with the same issue. How much ? Where from?- Strikefalcon

Help Needed Weird Science at play
Problem: intermittent dead batteries overnight. Shutting off key will kill engine but not the rest of the electrical circuits. Like it’s on accessories. A while back the horn would randomly blow then progressively got worse. I pulled the fuse to stop that. The radio and or CD will randomly...- Strikefalcon

Topside Oil Leak
A long time ago if my air filter was dirty and I would get on her high and tight inevitably the top of the motor would fill up with oil. Might be your problem.- Strikefalcon

Door light & Dome light
I had that problem years ago on my 99 SD. The switch is in an odd place. But old age precludes me from remembering. I believe the lights would stay on until 15 or 20 mph. A squirt of WD fixed it.- Strikefalcon
