Dual alternators won't hurt you other then the extra cost. They will be there because of the snow plow package. I am not sure what all the snow plow package includes but it shouldn't hurt you either except for the cost. Might include some extra wiring. I can't think of what else it would have.

How many miles on the 03? I would dump the 03 if I had the chance. You never know what you can run into with those 03's.
