    6.4 Rough Idle when Cold

I don't know if this applies to your engine. My 6.0 would run rough when it was started cold. I did pretty much the same thing as yours without throwing any codes. I was running 15W-40 oil. I changed it to 5W-40 and it runs perfectly all the time. 15W-40 is too thick for Phoenix weather. I...

Add the truck information to your signature. This will keep us from asking every time you have a problem. Go to the BLACK line at the top and click on your user name and then click on Signature and add this information. Easy.

    Brake problems

You probably need new front pads. This is about the right mileage for new pads. Pulling to one side is another clue. Your right side pads are gone, or the left side pads are gone.

    OBD codes

Legally we can not delete any emissions system. Many states do not check yearly so you can get away with it. By the way I do not own a Ford Diesel at this time.

    Changed IPR Valve

Get on it like you stole it. These engines do NOT like to babied. Floor it every time you get on the freeway. I would do what I have suggested for at least another 100 miles and see what happens. Good Luck!

Oil Pressure fluctuating and power dropping

The people who changed your oil were going cheap by saving themselves a gallon of oil. That is enough to do a small car's oil change.

    Perplexed with my 6.0

No 5-40 is not too thin in warm temperatures. You need to do some research on oil and you will find the second number is the hot viscosity while the first is the cold viscosity. bobistheoilguy is a good site to check this out.

Why not fill it up to FULL on the dip stick. This may be your problem.

    Perplexed with my 6.0

I had an early 2004 6.0 and I switched to 5-40 and had no problems. I would get the romps with 15-40, so it was too think when cold.

    2007 f350 6.0 no start

No smoke means no combustion and that means no/limited fuel. I know everything is NEW and it seems you have nothing holding back the start. Something is not allowing fuel to be injected or you should have seen smoke. White smoke is what is normally seem during cranking and it smells like...

    2007 f350 6.0 no start

This has been bugging me for a while. The only thing I can come up with is; have you changed BOTH fuel filters? One is in the water separator and the other is on top of the engine (of course). Do you get any smoke when trying to start the truck?

Have you drained the water-in-filter filter on the frame beneath the driver's seat? How much fuel is in your tank?

    2007 f350 6.0 no start

Welcome to SDD dieseldoyle. Let me say that typing in ALL CAPS is considered shouting. I sold my 6.0 two years ago. So I am not up to date with this. Have you scanned your truck and what codes does it show. The codes will tell you what the truck thinks is wrong.

    SUGRING 6.0

What oil are you using? 15W40 is what is recommended by Ford, but it is too thick. Change your oil to 5W40 and you will end your surging. WOrked great in my 2004 6.0 all year. Try it.
