Steer me in the right direction
Would anyone have an idea as to what might cause your steering column to squeak and creak, when turned to the right and left. It’s as if it needs to be oiled or greased, but I see no way to do so. 97 F250 Crew Thanks- Bolthead

Grinding metal
Yesterday when I engaged 4wheel drive system on my 97 crew, I heard nothing but grinding metal. My first thought, 4wheel drive is going! Turns out two of the sealed U joints are shot on the 4wheel drive. I'm not sure about others, but I have never cared for the sealed Ujoints with no zirk...- Bolthead

Radiator Additive
I'm told by the dealership that an additive made by Ford should be added twice a year to the radiator, would anyone happen to know if this is true? (97 F250 127, 000) Thanks- Bolthead

vacuum pump removal 97 7.3
Hello, I'm new to this site and am looking for input on how to remove the vacuum pump on a 97 diesel 7.3. Also, I understand the first step is to loosen the tensioner, but not clear on just how it moves out of the way so belt can be removed. Sure would appreciate any support. Thanks- Bolthead
