Welded EGR Valve

Hey Guys, A quick and easy question - I've read where some brave souls are welding their EGR valves (open/closed?) I have an '05 6.0 and an extra EGR Valve - what do I weld? Thanks - Steve-popcorn

2005 Parking brake adjust

How do I disconnect the EGR plug and not get a DTS code?

I have a 05 6.0 and I'd like to disconnect the EGR plug to let it run cleaner. When I do this I get a Check Engine lite. Does anyone know if I can short the plug to fool it into thinking it's pluged in? Thanks - Steve A:dunno
