I received a letter last week about a class action lawsuit that has to do with a bad accelerator pedal on 01-03 superduty trucks and excursions with 7.3s. It applies to the non-adjustable, fixed pedal. I assume all owners would have received this letter or will in the near future. It gives a...
What else would you expect from a dealer? I agree with kenholl. If they indeed found the problem I'm sure you just want it taken care of already. Let's just hope that's it!
Need new rubber on the front real soon, and was thinking about changing them all. Will these fit on my stock 97 f250 without any rubbing? Will they look too fat on my stock 7" wheels?
Thanks. That makes sense. I've actually lowered the air pressure from about 70 psi all around (that's what it was at when I brought it home) to around 50 all around since I run empty most of the time. Much better this way but still a little bouncy. I think I might throw in some new bilsteins...
I guess I'll be on the lookout for any 96-97 f250s in the neighborhood to see if there are any visual differences in the springs and go from there.
Thanks for the input.
Just picked up my first PSD yesterday. It's a 97 sc lb 4x2.
It came with the "camper" package. I was wondering if the springs were heavier duty than if it didn't have the camper package. Seems really stiff. Much stiffer than my 91 GMC 1 ton. I think I'd like to soften her up a little...:dunno
Thanks for the welcome guys. There is alot of good info here. I've been going through and trying to learn as much as possible. Now I just need to get rid of two of my vehicles to fund the new super duty. We'll see how that goes...
hey everyone,
Looking for my first PSD. I'm a contractor so I'll be using it for work and also as a tow rig.
Never had a diesel or worked on one, so I've got a lot to learn. I think I've found the right place though.:sweet
