Diesel fumes coming through vents in cab
This is most likely a injector cup crack. This crack will allow fuel into the water, which of course, travels throughout the radiator and through the heater hoses. And you'll be able to smell the fuel in the cabin. It's easy to diagnose fuel in the water. open the radiator cap to see/smell...- rmwitt

Question Exhaust Smell in Cab
has anyone suggested fuel in the water? of course, when you turn on the heater the water/fuel mixture is running closer to the cab where you are sitting. take the radiator cap off to check for fuel in the water. i had this issue before. Turns out that i had a cracked injector cup. Had to...- rmwitt
