    Question Turbo boot problem

    Starting fluid works great to clean off all the oily buildup on the boot before reinstalling it, it dissolves the oil. I had the boot blow off 2 years ago and all I had in the tool box was some starting fluid so I sprayed some on the boot, wiped it down good and put it back on with no more...

    Automatic Headlights

    On mine, I can cover the sensor with a towel and the auto headlights will come on after about 30 seconds. And when I remove the towel they will go off after about 30 seconds.

    Leveling Kit for 05 F350

    When I first bought my truck, I put on the Daystar urethane spacers and they worked great! I didn't have to realign and the truck drove fine. You will need longer front shocks with them also.

    Here's a solution for you if it's not too much work :D The headlight sensor is on the center of the dash, up by the windshield. It is the little black dome shaped thing. Just put some electrical tape over it. ;tu

    The for lights use bulb #9145, so just look up hid kits for the 9145 bulb, it will be a separate kit from the headlight kits.

    Tapping into dome light?

    Yep, dome light wires run under the drivers side doorsil and come out close to the parking brake. I know because I cut the wire to my cargo light off of the dome light wire and added a new wire all the way to my dash so that I could turn the cargo light on and off with a switch. ;tu

    I haven't cut mine yet (pics are from another site) but I think you will only get the CEL (code light) coming on if you totally block it off.

    No A/C no heat???

    My display goes blank once or twice a year, it's done it since 2005 and not that big of an issue. Mine will come back on if I switch the headlight switch back and forth from the "auto" position to the "on" position a couple times. It will also come back on when I restart the truck.;tu

    You can use a sawsall with a long blade to cut out the scoop. The scoop is huge and really obstructs exhaust flow!!! I am going to try using a torch to heat up the scoop and bend it over so that it blocks most of the flow going into the egr cooler, I am in California so I can't just delete...

    '05 to '06 steering conversion

    No! stock 17's will hit the tie rod end so you cannot even get them to bolt up unless you add wheel spacers.
