    Well I dont know a whole lot about diesels this is my first one but not sure if the exaust back pressure sensor might be bad or EGR, does it blow lots of black smoke when running ruff if so could be EGR, but the not starting part not sure like I said I know little just what I've read.

    I just put mine in the shop for the same thing there is a tech service bulliten on the head gaskets, they no they are crappy and can fail and will just replace if they fail if it is still under warrenty. Kinda sucks that they know of the prob but will wait till they fail before fixing, sorry...

    Thinking about upgrading my fuel tank...questions.

    No smoke that I noticed and now there are no symptoms at all, like it never happened, almost that when I shut her off it reset something and no sick truck no more weird. EGR sorry for my lack of diesel; knowlege but exaust gas ???? regulator or what ???
