2005 Torqshift...Is it damaged?????
I have now been to two separate shops, and they both tell me there are no codes showing, and the transmissions operates properly for them...go figure. I do not know if this could be what causes the slip, but the mechanic told me today the transmission was four (4) quarts low on transmission...- OneTonKingRanch

No Tuner. No aftermarket temp gauge. I stopped by the transmission shop today. They think it is a cracked piston. Guess I will find out next week when I drop it off!- OneTonKingRanch

I have a 2005 F-250 4x4 with the 6.0. When the truck is cold, the truck runs great. I guess it could be any number of things...Ill find out tommorrow when I drop it off... It is quite possible the thing was fried when I bought the truck. Torqshift problems...
Just changed the fluid...same symptoms...I am thinking it is something internal. I hear a rattle coming from the transmission while my foot is on the brake and the truck is in drive. Maybe the torque convertor? I think this is going to be expensive!- OneTonKingRanch

Torqshift problems...
It was serviced not too long ago, and the fluid is where it should be. I don't remember the grade of fluid, but it is Amsoil and the service was done by a powerstorke specialist. These symptoms are fairly new which leads me to believe it is an internal problem.- OneTonKingRanch
