Starts very rough then smooths out nicely

I have an idea that your oil is too old/too cold/too thick. Rotella T6 5w-40 cured that in mine. Yeah, it stinks to pay $25.00/gallon for motor oil but my truck is happier.

Question looking at buying some generic questions. . .parking?

Good point Dave. I would hope that someone that undertook an ether injection install would disable all intake/glow plug assistance beforehand. It is said that ones day can be ruined when you blow the intake off the engine.:dizzy

Question looking at buying some generic questions. . .parking?

I know very little about PowerStrokes and even less about cummins. Is there some reason that an ether injection kit would not get it to fire in the cold?
