    We've done that, several times. Even left the lid loose to see if it would pump fuel out. It did not pump the fuel out, but the fuel bowl is full now... Will try the drain valve next... sorry I didn't do that... but need to wait on the batteries to charge. I'm lost, should it pump the fuel...

    It takes someone very very small to put the smoke back into electronic devices that have let it escape. I myself have gotten small before, but not small enough to put smoke back into the small integrated circuits (chips) for our trucks... :laugh1 RoReRi

    This is after a couple of hour trip, and I purge from WVO to Diesel about 35 miles before I get home, so I have run about two gallons of fuel through the system. I have tried cooling down the IDM, no change in symptoms, other than it is a different injector all the time. But mostly its #5 #8...

    Hmmmm... I have gotten a couple of IDM errors in the past several months, but only two. Maybe next time I've returned from a several hour trip, I'll test hot then test after I unload a CO2 fire extingusher on the IDM.
