    No Start after ran out of fuel....

    Well the batteries were "good" but only putting out 749CCA & 840CCA and they didn't want to replace them but I persuaded them to since a new one tested out at 1140CCA....the guy was trying to tell me my alternator was bad and causing no start..... I won't be able to try the new batteries until...

    I'll have to take the batteries in to test them and get replaced under the optima warr... Just because they are charged doesn't mean they are good...voltage can be there but not the amps

    Ive got the optima red tops and they are about 2 years old, going to take them to Advanced Auto and get checked, will get new replacements under their 3 year warranty if bad...

    Update: I was getting fuel in the 2nd bowl but changed the filters just in case....they were NASTY dirty, especially the frame mounter one. Only had 5k miles on it but it picked up all the crap from the tank when I ran out of fuel. I was continuing to get air when priming, changed drain...

Please don't lecture me on running out or even low on fuel.....I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW....it's bad enough I have to deal with...
