    Pile Buck, Yes I am going to ONLY unplug it. Someone recommended that my rough idle problems (that the dealership can't diagnose in Flagstaff - see my post of Going to the Dark Side) may be from bad EGR valve and in reading some other posts other people have unplugged and their rigs ran...

    Thanks Pile Buck! Any parts or pieces going to fall out when I pull it out? Should I put anthing over the hole to keep "stuff" from getting in there? Brian

    Newby here - does anyone have a picture of where I would disconnect it - to see if my rough idle at lower elevations goes away? BTW, I have a 2003. Thanks! Brian

    DaveBen, Are you speculating that the EBP may be bad as well as the EGR, or just the EGR? Any ideas how they may be able to diagnose it up here in Flagstaff, where it runs great? Brian

    I have a '03 F250 6.0l and it has treated me just fine so far (27500 miles), but for some reason I have lost faith in it. I live at 7000 feet elevation where it runs good (once it warms up), but when I go to Phoenix (1500 ft.) it idles VERY rough. I recently was stuck in a 4 hour traffic jam...
