    Correct tire pressure

Ok, as long as I have been towing I should know this but I don't. I have Goodyear 235-85-16 14 ply tires on my fifth wheel. The tire states max load of x,xxx @ 110 psi cold. Since I live at 1,000' elevation and am about to travel to 10,000' elevation, what air pressure should I run in the...

    No compression 6.4

Just pray that you didn't bend any valves and or pushrods. Being 180 off you will be lucky if there isn't any damage. Let us know how it turns out.

    Question Question

The hose going from the turbo to the intercooler would "blow" off during heavy pulls on my 6.0 but it was a case of not getting a good tightening on the clamps when I had the turbo serviced. A good cleaning and re-tightening of the clamps solved it.

Auxiliary fuel tank in bed of 2016 F350 SWB

I have a tank/toolbox combo in my 2016 F350. It sets level with the top of the bed and holds 60 gallons. I have used it in a Short bed and was still able to pull my fifth wheel fine. You cut the factory metal filler spout in two and remove about 3" of it, install a tee that came with my tank...

    02 7.3 Hard Start

Also your starter and or batteries may be getting tired. The old 6.9 thru 7.3's needed to really spin to start well. I experienced that with my 7.3 and a new started solved my problem. Just an idea.

    Dodge 1/2 ton with diesel?

If it wasn't for the long distance pulls we make with our fifth wheel - Oklahoma to Colorado, or Montana, or Wyoming, ect I wouldn't buy the diesel engines. For the short distance, in and out farm/ranch work the gas engines work great but I always end up going diesel for the previous reasons.

    2004 6.0 F250 down

This sounds a lot like an issue that I had a few months back with my 2004 6.0 My problem was the high pressure oil pump under the intake.

    Batteries...........

I've had 7.3's, 6.0's, a 6.4, and 6.7's and I always use Motor Craft batteries. I find they are within just a few dollars of "other" brands and have a 90 month warranty...36 month full-rest is prorated. Plus they fit exactly like the originals.

    New Ford

Your 2013 won't have a button for the exhaust brake; mine did not. I don't think they started putting the button on the dash until 2015.

    comment Got Earthquakes ?

Hydraulic Fracturing began in 1949 and has been performed around the world. It is done mostly between 5,000 and 20,000 feet below the surface. Earthquakes happen 50 to over 300 miles below the surface, much deeper than any frac job ever. Oklahoma has more active faults than most states and...

Super Duty F250 rear tire wear

Thanks Doug, It is nice to be able to park the entire rig inside away from the Oklahoma heat and storms. And yep I went and did what I should've done a couple years ago.

Super Duty F250 rear tire wear

Thanks Joe. I know I am going to really enjoy the stability and ease of mind with the DRW plus all the extra perks that come with the new F350; like the exhaust brake. I bet that will really help in the Rocky Mountains which is where we do a lot of RVing.

Super Duty F250 rear tire wear

Thank you everyone for your input. I'll check all the things you all suggested. I have weighed the rig as shown in the picture and I still have the scale ticket. It weighed 26,400#. I can go back and check the weight on the rear end. I agree with Joe...I need more truck. As you may be able...

Super Duty F250 rear tire wear

I'm running 80 psi in the rear; which is what the sticker in the door and the tire sidewall states for max load. I do double tow some as well. I will pull a 10' single axle trailer with a 900 Polaris Ranger on it. This doesn't add any hitch weight but may influence my weaving some. I'm about...

Super Duty F250 rear tire wear

My 2013 F250 4X4, Crew Cab, with the10,000 GVW package which I bought new, is wearing the inside of both rear tires. It has 25,004 miles and I rotated the tires every 10k. At 24,000 miles I turned the tires around on the rims so I could wear the other side of the tires. I pull a 37' fifth...
