No Leaks, Still Tight, Broken Clip: Should I be Concerned?

Battery Question: what’s this fused accessory wire?
As you can see, I have some intense corrosion on my battery. Especially at my positive terminal. I noticed tonight that there’s some accessory wire which corroded off and had fallen behind the expansion reservoir at the top of the image.
