    pinging/miss

    my early 99 has a miss when cold, and pings under accelleration until warmed up. it seems to smooth out once warm. EBPV is unplugged. truck has 162k miles. i know i need new injectors my question is is there anything else that could cause pinging? i'm also due for an oil change.

    got a new 4" MBRP

    now with the DIY open element intake and the 4" stinless from the turbo back she's breathing as good as she ever will. hoping for better fuel milage and maybe a chip next year.

    front axle joints early '99

    will the axle shafts pull out of the housings once i pull the hub assemblies or are there c clips in the pumpkin?

    squeal/chirp at high rpm

    my truck makess a squeek/squeal chirp sound at above 3000 rpm when shifting sometimes. could this be an IC hose leak? transmission shifts fine, new Ford torque convertor less than 5000 miles ago. turbo goiing bad? noise just started a couple days ago.

    convex main mirror glass?

    i broke the glass on the passenger side mirror on my '99 SD. it has the telescoping trailer tow mirrors. my question is can i get a replacement glass with convex glass? i did not like the flat glass in the original. i checked the dealer and that only offer the flat glass for ~$40.

    door ajar light

    i have a door ajar light that comes on intermittently even when all the doors are closed. i think i have the problem narrowed down to the passenger side. where is the switch and how do i get to it? the thing is triggering my interior lights and dinging at me so i'd like to get it fixed...

    fan clutch

    any leads on good cheap fans and fan clutches? dealer wants $300. new fan for $80 one blade is chipped on my fan and my clutch wobbles.

    zoodad?

    ok maybe i'm slow but i've searched and found a lot of references to this zoodad mod but haven't found out how to do the mod. anyone care to walk me though it?:thanks

    formerly IDI now SD PSD

    what's happenin. just got me a PSD so now comes the new learning curve. truck's a '99 (10/98) Supercab 250 4x4 offroad. so far the only mod i've found is a Banks Transcommand. needs a TC and a front end massage but she's a good runner. got a solid '86 4x4 looking for a new home. see you around...
