    I agree. that doesn't sound like a tranny. I would check the cps and/or the tps. As a last resort...the computer might be going south as well. Mine would exhibit the same general problems. Threw a couple of new CPS's at it before I figured out it was the pcm.

    It really depends on how much hp you are trying to make. Personally, find somebody with a scan tool (NGS or AutoEng) and see what your hpop is doing under WOT. No sense talking about changing it out ifn ya don't have to. Red

    Charging system question

    How has the truck started? One of the first signs of batteries going out will be the truck turning over fine but not starting. There isn't enough "umph" in the batteries to fire the injectors. red

    Early 99 Turbo

    If you have an early 99...any upgrade to the turbo will include a new pedistal, intake plenums and a few other things that my sleep deprived brain can't think of now. The early 99 turbo is smaller...but also doesn't have the stall issues of the 99.5 and later turbos, and tends to spool faster...

    Winter is approaching fast!

    change oil out to 10w-30, fill up my little containers with Powerservice for fill-ups, and as stated before...check all important cords for no fraying or breaks. Put the winter survival kit in the truck behind the seat(candy bars, blankets, papertowels, matches, coffee can, chit like that). red

    Dahl 100 install (questions)

    I don't have the x-cab but the CC, and here is where I mounted my dahl. dahl I mounted mine to the drivers seat bolts that come out of the floor. You need a metric nut and the size of it escapes me right now. You will also need to drill the holes in the stock dahl mounting bracket out...
