220 volts on Engine block heater?

No, nothing at all. I could try plugging it in a current monitor thing (don't know what it's called) to see if it draws anything at all.

220 volts on Engine block heater?

OK, I got the transformer but it's no good. The body of the transformer didn't even get warm or anything after 2 hours of being plugged in. The heater is probably dead. Well it was worth a try :-)

220 volts on Engine block heater?

Ease up, guys :) I'm happy with all the replies. I ordered the one Kristolson suggested, and I will let you know how it works out. I have been able to cold start in -20 degrees (celsius) without a heater (well it took 45 min and almost ate my brand new tractor-rated batteries!) so it's not an...

Question Gettin' ready for 6" lift...

You sure did! That is like the price of a new truck in the US, I know! At the moment petrol is 13 dkr/liter (8 $/gallon) and diesel is 11 dkr/liter (7 $/gallon). Yup, there's a reason for all the small cars here ;-)

220 volts on Engine block heater?

I am running on some quality German fully synthetic 5w40 oil. I once tried to go to a euro Ford dealer and they were not very helpful. But maybe... Thanks anyway.

220 volts on Engine block heater?

Thanks everyone... I don't want to make a big deeal of it, but it would be fu to use it now that I found it. I'm pretty sure it has never ever been used before. I'll try to find a step down transformer somewhere. I do have a little trouble starting when it is freezing, but maybe a new set of...

220 volts on Engine block heater?

Hi. While having removed the front bumper on the truck, which I have owned for almost 5 years, I just found out that I have an engine block heater!! :sweet The cord was zip-tied to the inside of the bumper! Now, of course it's equipped with a US style plug with ground in it, and I know...

Question Gettin' ready for 6" lift...

I'm finally about to get my stock '00 F-250 lifted! :sweet I'm getting the ICON 6" all springs kit, ICON V.S. 2.0 Aluminum shocks (going for single, not dual), 37 or 38" tires, gearings to match those tires, Bushwacker pocket style fender flares and if there's any $ left, maybe get a manual...

    oil leak, from hpop

I have the same problem and the stupid ass mechanic that I once used changed the main seal... twice... Didn't help! So he just put a blanket in the V-valley to soak up the oil and make me happy...until some time had passed and the blanket was saturated. What about that!:rant Anyway, does...

Help Needed Guess what? Replacing the CPS didn't help!

Thanks. I'm almost sure that's the problem then. Especially since I've had the problem for years, and it always disappears after restarting the vehicle. Would this be the part in question? Car Part Wholesale - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Dorman Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Help Needed Guess what? Replacing the CPS didn't help!

I know, I just took this pic to show which light I was talking about. It doesn't stay on. It lights up at random while driving, followed by the symptoms I described below.

Help Needed Guess what? Replacing the CPS didn't help!

I don't think there are any special systems on my truck. The owners manual says that this light is called emission system, but I would suspect it is the check engine light. It's the light above the arrow in the attached picture. It kicks to idle. Never dies. And usually after a few seconds...

Question Any thoughts on air bag suspension lifts?

Yeah I see that, but I mean lift kits that make room for larger tires, not just helper springs that level the vehicle under load.

Thanks, but I'm looking for a lift kit. Also, I don't know how much it would cost to ship to Denmark, but it ain't free ;-) So I think I'll have to pass. But thanks anyway. -Anders Friis

Question Any thoughts on air bag suspension lifts?

Thanks. I have, but I don't see air bag lift kits for superduties anywhere. Only helper springs.
