Engine Brake
Do these trucks have engine brakes on them? My 2001 f350 psd takes off while descending a hill, even if I shift down into 1, its an automatic. It acts like it is in neutral until I hit the accelerator. I dont understand this b/c my wifes honda accord I can put in 1 and slowly descend the...- jwolfe321

'02 superduty front springs
Sharpe google "topguncustomz" they are the guys would helped me with my truck. They have a few good add-a-leaf's. Also I have heard of some guys putting the ford x-springs on their trucks. I guess these are the springs for the 450's and 550's, should give you 1.5" of lift and bolt on easily...- jwolfe321

An add-a-leaf will probably get you 1.5-2" in the front, my truck 01 f350 had a 2" block under the stock front springs and I was running 35"x12.50 with no rub. Hope this helps some.- jwolfe321

2001 f350 psd illegal lift
Thanks guys, I took the advice and the blocks came out rather easily. One of the blocks was broken and I figure that was making the noise, glad to get it outta there.- jwolfe321

2001 f350 psd illegal lift
I bought my truck off a guy that put an "illegal" (blocks in the front) 2" lift kit on it. After driving over a year one sides ubolts have come loose in the front. It now makes a terrible noise when I drive down the road. I have tried to tighten the bolts by hand with a 3 foot breaker bar but...- jwolfe321
