2012 super dutys ??
looking for input and opinions on the 11-12 models. brought home new one yesterday, first 100m and already lovin mileage over the old 08, 6.4. Got 14.4 home to dealer on the 6.4, and 18.6 dealer back home on 6.7. 100m one way. the 6.7 seems impressive. strong and quiet. Time will tell...- black super 350

maybe you had some bad fuel. swamp gas or sumpin:lmao these things are supposed to be good to below zero before you need to plug in. i just left mississippi and it sure hasn't been cold enough for start problems. hope it stays straight for you. good luck:sweet- black super 350

yeah, i wonder if the announcement stays on the whole time its cleaning?:dunno i've seen it flash on message center several times, but it was slit second. only every stayed on the one time. that one caught me on way home from 14hr night shift and i wasn't about to drive around the block...- black super 350

Fuel mileage
i've checked mileage actual against computer, always filling to the same spot on the fill tube, and my numbers always come within 1 -2 tenth one way or the other. it's been close enough i'm confident now to just go by the computer most of the time. got about 6K on mine now. just ran 1000 mile...- black super 350

off-road package apparently the lift blocks and rear leafs are a matched set on my truck. i had a set of AIR LIFT overloads i wanted to put on for my 5th wh. there was not enough clearance from leaf to frame to use them. after talking to techs at air lift, measurements and pics, they said...- black super 350

rough idle last winter my 7.3 was acting that way. 30 degrees hard start, rough idle. any colder and it wouldn't start. or maybe start if it sat in hot sun in mid afternoon. it was a bad glow plug relay! i don't know if the 08s still have one or not. you should wait for glow plug light to...- black super 350

programmers what's opinions on the diablosport predator? different sales pitches claim 3-5mpg increases. how does it compare to hypertech, got good results on my 7.3 with them, but they aren't showing much mileage gain on the 6.4 fuel dropped to 4.08 gal here this morn all info appreciated!- black super 350

N.E. pa most of these miles have been interstate, fairly flat, from home to ontario, can. but there is couple hundred of our local winding, hilly, mountain. not like yours out there, but some steady pulls. been running the hiway miles around 70, give or take.- black super 350

6.4 programmers, anybody tried hypertech? I've got 1200 mi on my 6.4, mostly interstate,four 200mi trips. balance country road here in N.E. Pa. Right around 15-16 mpg stock.
