flush oil?
Maybe an old question, I decided to try synthestic (Rotella) oil. Do I need to flush/drain out my old oil in the system or can I just drain the old oil from the oil pan and fill with the new synthetic? Wondering whether any issue if there is some old dino oil getting mixed with the new...- MattM

rough start up
This has just begun happening when I start my truck. After my truck sits overnight, about every 5th time when I start the engine it idles rough. It sounds like there is a radical high lift cam in the engine, idles rough, then smooths out after about 10 seconds of this rough idle. Any ideas...- MattM

EGT sensor location
Am planning to install my EGT sensor in the exhaust but have read about several locations for mounting. Some off the top of the manifold, some off the lower exhaust flange under the truck...does either location really matter? The one picture I saw was under the truck at the bend...are they...- MattM
