01 Excursion theft light

I have an 01 X with a recently installed ts perf 6 position tuner and the theft light now blinks rapidly when started and then goes into a series of 1 flash,pause 6 flashes. It does this a few times then goes out. I also noticed the truck will now start without the coded key!

i am going out on a shaky limb here
does your chip have a position to run the x with no key in the ignition?
if so your chip is bypassing the gem to let it run, this would cause the onboard pats to be confused
