Help Needed 2000 fuel level sending unit

2000 f350 7.3 dually. I have a worn out fuel level sending unit. I have found old threads on substitutes, but the part numbers are out dated. Does anyone have an updated part that will substitute. Im not spending 400.00 on something that is under 40.00. They do not sell the part independently for the truck. Only the whole assembly.
