I just ordered a new blower motor for my truck and was wondering if anyone has ever replaced one of these before. I was just looking for some tips and info to help the process go as smooth as possible. Thanks!

Yep, i just replaced mine on Sat. 09/26/09. Old one was running when it felt loke it, so replacement was in order. It took me all of 1/2 hour to do. I unbolted the vacuum pump and starter solenoid from the fender wall to ease reoving the old unit.
I removed the old unit, installed fan onto new unit, and did the reinstall. I made sure to remove pine needles, leaves from the heater core before doing the reinstall.
All in all, not that difficult of a job to to.
