2003 Ford excursion diesel

I have a 03 excursion 6.0 diesel. It has a 5" superlift and 35" tires.
It has a speed control chip. It has been fine for 2 years. Now, it has suddenly had a power surge intermitttenly. What do you think?

Also, Ford is telling my warranty is void. Any advice? Thanks

I recommend performing a code scan to determine whats giving the trouble for with 6.0L's it can be one thing or another
