Thanks BAMA for laying the bugs in ears about this new leg of SSD.

Since we no longer have the superduty....my oil burner is a big fat 8.3 cummins
well this last trip......just a shade under 41k loaded up
we ran down 1273 miles and 166 gallons of fuel, total behind the wheel time
27 hrs 49mins and 17 secs, so says the computer on the dash 7.7 mpg

so for you folks that aint seen her

That is great mileage for that rig pulling that truck. I did not get that good of MPH in my 1982 F-350 gasser, with a 400 cid truck motor. Empty I could get 7.5 mpg on a good day and 6.6 mpg pulling my Jeep. What a horrible motor, no guts along with no mileage.

Sweet looking rig. I would think with the 41K weight that the mileage is pretty good.
